Model and influencer Steph Claire Smith has sold her Brighton East house.

Fitness influencer Steph Claire Smith and husband Josh Miller’s Brighton East home has gained almost $1m in three years.

The social media power couple, who combined have more than 1.6m Instagram followers, purchased the 1A Hopkins St pad in 2019 for $2.475m, according to CoreLogic records.

Since then, the pair welcomed their first child together — now one-year-old son, Harvey — and put the four-bedroom house on the market in May.

The Instagram influencer’s home sold for more than $3m in June.

While the Keep It Cleaner app and podcast founder declined to comment on the sale, she told her 1.5m Instagram followers last week she had fielded a number of questions about their decision to move, which she explained “she wanted to keep private”.

But the Melbourne-based influencer did reveal she and Mr Miller had “found their dream home” and were currently staying at her parents’ house until they moved.

The 692sq m property went under the hammer in June, when it sold for a huge $3.455m after a lengthy hour-long auction.

Gary Peer Caulfield North director Leon Gouzenfiter would not comment on the sale price but said it sold “comfortably a couple of hundred thousand (dollars) above reserve”.

“Four or five families competed and it was purchased by a local family that was very familiar with the area,” Mr Gouzenfiter said.

“They were happy to buy something that was really nice and not have to go through a build process, especially with the uncertainty of building prices.”

The recently-sold Brighton East digs was only built four years ago, originally as a display home, and boasts a number of stylish features — including a Caesarstone benchtop kitchen with a butler’s pantry, a resort-style pool and undercover alfresco dining space.

Three bedrooms, one with an ensuite, are found upstairs, while the main bedroom lies on the ground floor, featuring a glamorous ensuite and spacious walk-in wardrobe.

“It’s a very bright home with lots of glass, and it had really beautiful landscaping,” Mr Gouzenfiter added.

“The landscaping has now matured with established trees which makes it all very private … and the home itself was architect designed so it was done really well.”
